we will win 32 games this season if we make the playoffs that would be excellent, contrary to what people here believe losing is not fun and it impacts the progression of rookies
Whatever is the 3rd worst in the NBA is. That is the best place to be. It blocks Toronto from being #3 and increases our chances for #1 or #2 which are interchangeable.
Between 35 and 45 wins. I'll say 42. They've looked incredibly sloppy in training camp, but that's what training camp is for. They've got good players at center and point, the two most important positions, so that's critical. I've got a ton of respect for mchale. He took the rockets to a .500 record with luis scola as his star player.
40 wins and Martin will be our leading scorer. People can complain about his so called "attitude" all they want but that doesn't make him any less of a good scorer.
In all Honesty I can see us winning 42-45 games and getting the 7-8th seed or (heaven forbid) getting the 14th pick again. Hopefully Toronto gives us a high pick...I still believe that we should have received Jonas Valanciunas as well as the Pick for Lowry, but what can you do? Jeremy Lin and Martin will both be high volume scorers, I can see Lin 22pts and 7ass, Martin back to +20 also. Asik a double double 11pts 13reb guy, if he can stay out of foul trouble and catch those lobs from Lin. Parsons is a Stud...The White Robert Horry! I can see him playing the 2,3 and some 4 this season. Lamb has Rookie of the year potential...even off the bench. Donatas will surprise many, and should tape a picture of his NBA2k13 rating to his locker as motivation. Patrick Paterson is in a make or break situation...Most improved Player consideration or trade fodder...I for one hope that he makes it. Royce and Terrence both have great untapped potential to produce. We have Delfino, Douglas and Forbes able to light it up from downtown. So all isn't as Bad as it seems. We might not have Dwight, Kobe or LeBron but we have JaJuan, Greg Smith and 'The Karate Kid' Machado. But my BOLD prediction is for Marcus Morris to be a beast this year...25 pts per game, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and a couple of steals...book it. Spoiler In the D-League of course.
HA, love your last prediction. I think Rockets are getting slept on. This is a young team, but our 5 starters are all NBA proven at some level with the potential to have break-out years (Martin will be in a contract year as well). We just need 3-4 players beyond that to step up to have a good rotation to hopefully compete for those last 2 spots in the West.
