What are people's guesses on how many games Rockets will win during 2012 ~ 2013 season? And who will be the leading scorer? Mine is around 30 and Parsons.
I think Lin or Lamb will be the leading scorer (I believe Kevin Martin will be traded). Season prediction? The Rockets own the 9th seed, so I'll go with 42-40, draft a Power Forward, repeat.
Believe this has been asked before, but I'll go with about 35 wins and Lin. Martin and Lin should be very close in scoring. I expect Parsons will finish with less points ppg than Lin, Martin, and Patterson.
how is Parsons supposed to pull it off? i'll say 20 wins, though i could see 30 if McHale relies heavily on the vets. And Lin or Martin. I think both will average ~17 points.
how is Parsons supposed to pull what off? what vets are you referring to?? Delfino + Martin are the only players in the rotation with more than 2 years experience. Martin will already be relied upon bc he is our #1 scoring option as long as hes wearing a Rockets uniform. With Dragic, Lowry, and Scola all gone, theres no way anyone can think that Martin will score less than 20 ppg. thats ridiculous. my prediction 32 wins, Martin will lead in scoring while he's here. at the end of the year after he's traded, leading scorer will be Parsons at around 16 ppg
the last time we had a bunch of young players was this season Record: 28-54, Finished 5th in NBA Midwest Division (Schedule and Results) http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/HOU/2002.html <script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.sports-reference.com/wg.fcgi?css=1&site=bbr&url=%2Fteams%2FHOU%2F2002.html&div=div_roster"></script> So I say 28 games.
Less than 30 wins I think A safe guess would be 26 wins or so, could be 20 wins you never know with this group
Seeing Eddie Griffin's name still makes me sad. He did have some potential to be solid. But I agree, 28 games. Should get us a decent draft pick to go with the Raptors 1st.
