Cops on bikes? Yuck. Those ****ers used to haunt the 26th and Speedway intersection at UT, nabbing cars that took a "right turn on red" onto 26th from campus (near RLM). God I used to want to hurt those guys.
Sorry to hear about your troubles RM95. Hope things work out for the best. IF you guys do seperate, the best way thing to do is hang out with friends as much as you can asap.
During this separation, ask yourself if you are wanting to go back to her. She has to ask herself the same thing. If you feel that you are ok without her, there lies the answer. If you feel that yearning to be with her, listen to your heart, but remember, she must feel the same way. 3 months cold turkey is too extreme IMHO...The first few days will be very hard, but after a week, if the feelings to go back is very strong, you must work together to fix the problems. Wanting to be together is the easy part. The hard part is being willing to work together and find solutions to the problems. I wish you the best of luck. FT
I absolutely LOVE IT when I hear about people who disrespect cops, and then get arrested. LMAO. Cops risk their lives for us, while earning less than 40 grand a year. People who don't show cops respect SUCK. Of course, that is just my opinion.
You're right johnheath. In all my traffic stops, I've never disrespected a cop, and any excuse I could give as to why I did what I did yesterday doesn't justify it at all. Even though I doubt these bike-riding transit cops risk their lives all that much.
I really would, except I can't move my head from side to side without sharp pains going up and down my neck and back...it's a three hour + drive. This week blows.
Way to go. You wasted the cop's time and taxpayers money for absolutely no reason. Did you want your lawyer present? Did you say "I know my rights", "you can't do that", "I pay your salary", "you're not a real cop", or "go arrest a real criminal"? It was a simple misdemeanor that could have easily been dismissed in court. Yeesh. j/k Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope everything works out.
You NEVER know when a transit cop might be on this board, reading anti-polite remarks . Umm, you did get the anti-polite remark, right? On a nother note, when's the debut of Mrs. SS?
btw, I pulled those out of the 'What are some things I should NOT say to a police officer?' section of the UT Students Legal Handbook. Another funny line, "Debit cards are issued by banks and may be used to withdraw funds from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM, not Texas A&M)" No joke.
