He was a really underrated player but stats were also a bit inflated in that era.

He was also a defensive liability in almost every playoffs series

He had an annoying ability to make ridiculously tough shots.

Those stats are better than Brandon Roy's.

If I remember right, Jeff was considered the second best player on his Iowa State team. I believe there was a small forward that was drafted before him in the first round. And wasn't he drafted in the second round or towards the bottom of the first round anyways.

if the ticket prices, etc were to go down in proportion with the lower player salaries then i can understand this, but if you just want to re-allocate more of the existing cash back to the owners then i'm not sure why

I know, white players always get underpaid.

Barack Hussein Obama and his people are keeping white players down.

no not to the owners, i'm sure they already make a ridiculous amount as well.....i'd lower ticket prices, remodel/improve arenas, more fan giveaways, etc..

The pay disparity cannot be anything other than the result of pervasive racial discrimination. We must immediately introduce legislation that requires the mean pay of whites on a team to equal the mean pay of blacks on the team.

I had the same reaction when I looked up his stats a few months ago. He was brought up in the Rockets killers thread I think. (I was gonna guess Joe Dumars)

In the '93 season, the Jazz had in the same backcourt
    John Stockton
    Jeff Hornacek
    John Crotty
    Tim Legler

    The following season they had
    John Stockton
    Jeff Hornacek
    John Crotty
    Dave Jamerson

Sloan doesnt always succeed, but at least he attempts
