Credit card company i can kind of understand, since you were doing a person-to-person transaction. But paypal is usually hyper-reactionary about this sort of thing and basically always sides with the buyer. Or so I thought.

I think Paypal only covers your money with fraud stuff when it's an eBay item, not when you do other transactions that involve sending money for goods, at least that's how I think they operate.

 

Im confused. He is requesting that he be paid, but you said you already paid him on a CC and took a loss?

So by what your saying, he is asking for money again?

Should not worry about his threat of small claims court if you already paid and obviously have CC proof of this.
