    Ditto, I've had my PS3 since launch and had no problem whatsoever and I haven't heard of anything even close to RROD problem when them.

    Looks like ya made the same mistake I did... buying from someone without much of a posting history. I got hosed on my 360 too. :(

    Hopefully you can get it sent in and repaired for free if nothing else.

    No, I'm the kind of person who's willing to pay a bit more if it means less hassle, and I'd rather not go through the hassle of dealing with a broken game appliance, which is why I haven't bought a 360.

    And my disinterest in the PS3 has nothing to do with it's price and everything to do with Gears of War, Halo, and Left 4 Dead being 360 exclusives.

    Checked my paypal account today and this douche bag had the balls to send me a money request for $220 along with this note

    i canceled this stupid request right away, SOB already stole my money and I ended up having to just take the stupid thing to Gamestop and take a massive loss on what I paid, they gave me $80 bucks store credit for everything.

    I swear I can't believe some people, I mean how in the hell is he suppose to take me to small claims court when he's the one that ripped me off in the first place! :mad:

    My Xbox got the RROD too with the warranty expired. Anyways, I gave Microsoft a call and they said they extended the warranties on the models. Got it back after about 3 weeks and everything's legit. You should give them a call.
