    Morey seems to keep this kind of thing close to the vest. At 11pm Woj will tweet about the Rockets meeting with someone we hadn't seriously considered.

    I'm going with Gordon Hayward. It's entirely possible the CP3 trade got us back into the discussion and given the recency of the trade we may not have heard about it.

    Also....cyberx. The guy is ROCK SOLID on his sources. My guess is one of the first calls Morey made after the CP3 trade was announced was to Heyward's agent. I don't believe it's been announced that Gordon is meeting with anyone tonight....

    He meeting Miami tomorrow. We could conceivably meet him tonight, but it'd likely be an ambush. That's typically Morey's style, which is why we had Hakeem in a room with Bazemore (hoping to have first dibs at Horford), and sent a bus full of fans (cc: @00rocketgirl )to the wrong place at midnight one year.

    Even if he says yes.... Jazz wont play ball and sign and trade him.. then what? Rockets cant dip far below the cap anymore enough to sign any big free agents. All has to be done via trades for big fish,

    I mean, trading Ryno to Philly or Brooklyn (they want to pay Reddick $18 mil after all) could be doable. Trading Gordon and renouncing our randos would get us there. Hopefully they go the Clipper route and play ball if we can do it otherwise.

    Not gonna happen, but just thinking abstractly.

    Milsap is my guess as well... and my hope. It is the greatest position of need. Elite defender and good midrange shooter. Not sure how we make the money work, but now that we have the best backcourt in the league with Paul, Harden, and Gordon, adding a Milsap would help us immensely.
