Are you saying that Yao doesn't care about people's false claim on his personal relationship? Where did you get that from? Because Yao never said he's Yang's friend then he doesn't know Yang? Do you think the Yao team is gonna let anyone make money off false claims on Yao's relationship and report fabricated converstation with Yao?

China's media feed Chinese what the government wants them to hear. The American media feed Americans what they want to hear, and directs what Americans like to hear. China's media is politically driven, and the American media is monetarily driven. Neither is driven by facts, truth and panoramic reports. The free flow of information isn't free when profit is what regulates the flow of it.

I have high doubts when the punishment is not jailing, but merely losing one's job when one commits serious fraudulent journalism. That shows how high the journalistic standard is in America.

You think Chinese are brainwashed by the government, well, Chinese think you guys are brainwashed by the media. When is that last time you heard a government official criticize the media? Actually, I think the best way is to look at things in two perspectives, instead of just one. And in this case, your beloved American media hasn't come up with factual rebuttal but Calvin Murphy has said things
, although in a more subtle way, that resonates with the basic theme of Yang's article. Yang said he heard guards doesn't pass the ball without a JVG roaring, and Murphy said there's players that don't know how to play with Yao, and if they don't change, they'll be replaced. Read between the lines, what Murphy meant is apparent.

Answer:- He benched Yao Ming for the fourth Quarter because it was better to rest him for the next Game,he was being quite useless in the Game as he was not involved with the Game.The reasons causing his non involvement became obvious in the next Celtics Game when Yao Ming was being involved, at least in the first half.JVG was not upset just being a good Coach.

I think Yang Yi USED to be a very good friend of Yao. I have been reading his column for a while, I have noticed that ever since he published an article saying Yao should ask for special treatment from the Chinese National Basketball Association next summer (he actually listed 3 demands in details, and they seem to come from Yao himself via his private conversation with Yang Yi), he has been cut out from Yao's insider circle. This is just my observation (that article was on online for one day, and it was removed permamently a day later) that Yang crossed the line with Yao, and Yao is not happy with him. Since then, has Yang Yi ever written anything which has any direct quote from Yao? I have not read any.
