CP3 definitely is the most important player on the Suns, and Ayton is the 3rd best player and 3rd most important on his team living off the offensive attention that CP3 and Booker command Booker would win FMVP if PHX won this series
People tried to say the same thing about Kevin Knox, I don't think we'll see another player similar to Giannis in a very long time, he's extremely unique, perhaps a once in a life time player.
I don't doubt his high volume inefficient scoring would impress some, after all it got Westbrook an MVP much to the shame of the award, but Ayton and CP3 are by far the most important players on the team.
a lot of big men can have amazing advanced stats when playing with perimeter scorers and playmakers that command all the attention just look at Capela…he had a 126 offensive rating in 17-18, and a whopping 133 in 18-19….his WS/48 was .242 and .230 in the playoffs, he had a 132 offensive rating in 2018, and a WS/48 of .238…that offensive rating and WS/48 were significantly higher than both Harden and CP3 so it’s cool that Ayton leads the Suns in some advanced stats, but we know what the deal is…
Kevin Knox plays soft and was never known for his defense. Who the hell said he was the next Giannis? Even when he played great in SL his game wasnt anywhere like Giannis since he was hitting mid range Js left and right. Lebron is the unique player not Giannis. Giannis just takes it to the hole every possession and he uses his athleticism and size to his advantage. Thats very replicable as long as you get a similar specced player with a similar mentality of taking it hard to the rack. Lebron is the one hard to emulate cuz guys with the body of Karl Malone dont usually have the skills of Kobe and Magic. For example Giannis has similar or even superior dimensions to Lebron but he cant shoot or be perimeter oriented like Lebron. Giannis has some passing ability but he isnt hitting the trick passes Lebron does on ocassion. Lebron actually has a better career 3 pt% than Kobe goodluck getting Giannis to shoot like that. Anyway point is you asked who is like Giannis and I just gave you the answer lol
Neither team is in the finals without their backcourt duo. That point goes both ways. The Bucks are built around Giannis but Middleton is their X Factor and they spent assets to acquire Holiday for a reason. The Suns are built around their backcourt. That’s not really debatable. Ayton is the 3rd “star”

The big men need their supporting cast, but you could add 5 more star guards and neither team is in the finals without their star big men. Guards are just less valuable than quality big men
