I was looking forward to some gameplay stuff but oh well disappointing trailer but still looks like a badass game
looks nice. but hopefully they've changed up/polished the gameplay some. gotta love the Koyaanisqatsi/Philip Glass reference.
wow from coney island to times square.... i love that it's set in ny again, but I'm kinda of dissapointed they didn't do london. Maybe you can fly back and forth from city to city? naaaw...probably in GTA V (may never happen)
Yeah. Exclusive downloadable content is in the works for each platform AFAIK. Not sure if there will be any differences in the retail versions themselves (and if so, what?).

Where will the new game expand to? Jersey is obvious, espicially Atlantic City, but will you be able to terrorize New England (at least Connecticut)? I think they'll make like one generic upstate town to represent New Rochelle and Westchester aong with a giant country club. Will they rework the old Liberty City map? It wouldn't be conducive to what they seem to be aiming for to just stuff all of the NYC stuff into Staunton and Portland.
It is just one city (Liberty City), so there won't be additional cities like there were in SA if that's what you asking (assuming I'm understanding the wording in the magazine correctly). Also, no planes.
You've read the magazine? Might they be keeping some cards up their sleeves? Though, with NYC, there is plenty of stuff to do since you've got Manhatten and Long Island (Brooklyn, Queens). Somebody mentioned London, they'll probably hold out on that since there have been a couple of GTA clones that did that already.
Not exactly. Just reading excerpts from the magazine that have been posted online. Here's the basic info so far (taken from NeoGAF...via the GTAForums): -The protagonist's name is Niko Bellic. -Multiplayer is to be announced. -You can use a cellphone to call your contacts. -No planes..? -"You have a lot of choice over what you want to do." -Game Informer played the Xbox demo. -Dan Houser explains that "a big part of New York life is walking the streets and meeting lunatics", and this is something they definitely tried to put into the game. From the GTAForums directly I believe (similar stuff): In the previous gta's you used to be a slave... in this one you are told what to do by people but you can choose on how you want to spend your time. so we have more choice over what we want to do, we can "hang" with different people. no planes because there is only one city. we can ride rollerblades? i kind of heard that... great music same writer, physics guy, designer.. same team basically she is just skimming the whole thing cell phones can be used... the people you work for can help you or stab you in the back... it is a new way of interacting with the world.
