do i have to reach a certain point in the game in order to buy stuff from didier sachs? i know for sure, that there´s a sachs shop in los santos, but it hasn´t opened so far...
The Russian mission is one of my favorites. I actually intentionally let the dealer get away so I could do it several times and get my AK-47 and MP5 ammo up to max levels. Now I'm at "hitman" level with both and blowing people away from half a block. I'm now out in the woods and about ready to start the missions of someone who is familiar from GTA3. It's crazy driving around in the woods on one of those Sanchez dirt bikes.
I finally got to another city. This game is amazing. *SORT OF A SPOILER* I am,at the level with cesars cousin. couldn't beat it my first time around, will try again later. trying to learn how to use the train/airport travel system.
I broke down and bought it today after work. I'm watching the rockets now and waiting for the wife to go to bed so I can start the game.
What a great game. I've only scratched the surface and I'm already hooked. I'm thinking some real strong Margaritas are in store for my wife this evening so I can get a little more playing time in tonight than I did last night.
Has anyone heard the voice of SportsRadio 610 on the radio in the game? I know he's on it but I am an X-Box guy so I haven't heard it. Let me know how it is.

I officially suck at this game. I haven't played much because of I don't have alot of time, but when I do, I keep getting shot by other gangs when traveling around. Also, how can I make more money? I need to upgrade the hydraulics on the ride you get to take to the car show where you have to win the bouncing contest.
- spoilers... sort of? - 1 - Go behind CJ's house into the reservoir and pick up all the weapons and armor you can find... one of them should be a tec-9 or something like that. 2 - Go find a car that can do drive-bys... most of them are big sedans or station wagons... that should solve your first problem. You can run the other gang members over and take their money and guns. 3 - So many ways to make money early on... jack a taxi and start doing taxi missions, get the pimp car and do the pimp missions, or take out some drug dealers (the guys wearing black tank-t's)... or you could just follow the mission storylines and pick up some money that way.
Another type of drug dealer is a guy in a white hoodie with the hood pulled over. Both types of dealers are always strapped so it's best to kill them from behind becuase the minute you target them they defend themselves. That bouncing contest you speak of, is it the one early on where you are supposed to follow your sister? If that's the one, then you don't need to buy hydrolics, the car that they give you already has them and I don't think you can improve them. Hey, kpsta, where in that reservoir/aqueduct is the body armor? I can only find the machine pistol/ingram under the bridge.
SPOILER**** Where the machine gun is, the armor is one bridge down. When you get the gun, turn around, run past where you would go back up to your house and over to the next bridge. Climb up under it and there is the armor. I bet on the horses downtown and did very well. You can also play pool in the bar close to your house for cash as well.
