GTA: San Andreas

Sonofa****ingbitch, my disc has a scratch on it. No idea where the damned thing came from, but now the disc will play for maybe 20 minutes and bingo, lockup.

 

awww hell that sucks so bad!

Do those cd fixing things working? Might as well try them. Or to exchange it at the store.

 

heres a cool trick to rack up money.

Get a police vehicle and make sure that you aren't wanted by the police ( zero stars )

Once you get a police vehicle, toggle on Viliglante mode and go into any resturant. Wait in the resturant until you hear a "boink" sound (which signals that the criminal you are chasing has died). Go back outside and hop onto the police vehicle and restart the whole process. It seems that theres a bug in the game that causes criminals to die when you're inside a resturant.

I made like a million bucks going up to level 50.

 

For some reason this made me chortle out loud.

My disc is hosed. Doubtful the buffer thing would fix it. I'll just bite the bullet and buy a new copy. Hell, I probably ought to just forget it. I do have grad school classes to study for.

 

Go rent one and trade it out.

I was playing the other day and anytime I did a mission with Ryder, the sound kept getting all messed up. I checked the disc which was fine, so maybe my PS2 is acting up.

 

Don't rental places usually put some kind of sticker on the disc with like a barcode or something?

 

I've had it freeze on me once, earlier on in the game.

Say, has anyone else here had the brief impulse when driving down the street and seeing some graffiti... to just pull over, hop out and start tagging? Eh, probably just me...

 

Im going out to buy this game tommorrow.


Is this game long.....I mean....after getting pumped up about Halo 2 and finishing it very quickly...I dont want to pay all that money for a game I'm likley to finish in a couple of days.

 

It's pretty long. I'm still doing Los Santos and I've played a few hours a day the past few days. Of course, I do screw around alot.

 

happened to me as well, but couldn´t find the triangle button in the tramway to get out...weird isn´t it....

 

Can someone help me a bit.

Ive had this game for a couple of days now (AWESOME!) and Im doing ok.

But I lost my spray an by getting killed and now I dont know where to get a new one.

Im guessing after the original missing to tag a few walls in the area you can continue to spary walls in other areas (It says Ive done 6 of 100) so where do I get a new sparycan from?

 

Am I the only one who just uses cheats when I want something?

 

You have to love a game where doing drive by's, spray painting graffitti, and generally breaking any law you can think of is normal but has a stigma about using cheat codes.

 

I admit, I have used cheats alot. But not for help in the game. I do it whenever I smash up a car that I like. I want it to look good, can't be driving a car with it's bumper hanging off.

 

Can you hijack the trollies? Fun takign over the Trains.

 

I haven't used any cheats. Maybe that's why I haven't gotten far.

 

I havent used cheats and I think Im doing really well.

At the moment Im gaining more territory. I find that if you start a gang war, find the right area to bunker down in and just kill them as they come towards you...its not to hard to wipe out another gang.

I think right now the Ballas gang has like 4 territories left and the other gang has 9 or so left.



Maybe a bit more help....


Im still in San Andreas, but on a little exploration I came across a gambling center in one of the little towns. In there you bet on horse races.

Anyway...Ive been searching for it again....but I cant find it. Anyone got some directions to this place?

 

I can't wait for the PC and X-box versions to come out next year. I refuse to play it on the crappy PS2.
