GTA: SA is coming out in 12 days. Anybody else excited? GTA: SA site Trailer 1 Trailer 2 Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco are the cities it's based on, and you're playing as moestavern19, I mean, Carl Johnson.

i just saw carl and assumed carl from the simpsons hahah. i used to be an avid watcher of the simpsons until season 7 and they never really went in depth with carl and lenny's last names. the thing i found amusing is when lenny invited carl over for dinner because lenny's wife was a beauty pageant contestant...but he didn't have a wife...
A friend of mine is starting to get pretty crazy about this game and is starting to read up on all the previews of it that I already read. And then he'll mention them to me even though I already know about it: "Did you know you could learn new moves, combos, and other stuff that would change the combat system?" "Yeah." "Did you know you can use a BMX bike? "Yeah." "Did you know that each vehicle has its own physics engine?" "Yeah." "Did you know..." "Yeah." "Wait, I didn't even say anything." Anyways, I'm a little hyped about it. I just want to play it so I can see all the work they've been able to do. All the things I've heard about the game sounds awesome and I'm curious on how it was made to work in the game. I basically want to see what a developer can do to maximize the power of a console. Just having the amount of land in the game would demand a lot of power, I'd assume, but all the extras put in there just make it sound that much more impressive. I'm also curious to see how well it sells. From here on out, there will be a lot of things to buy if you're a gamer. Along with GTA:SA, you'd still have MGS:3, GT4, RE4, Metroid 2, DOA X, and HL2, plus the Nintendo DS if you're into it, or maybe even the PSP if you could import it. (boy, I'm getting used to saying stuff like) that With all these games, I wonder if GTA:SA will still sell well like the other GTA games or if it will possibly do a little less than expected due to all the other great games coming out relatively soon.
NO chance this is gonna be on the X-BOX is there? Didn't Rockstart have to sell their souls to Sony for a sweetheart deal after they released Vice and III on X-BOX? Either way, the X-BOX version makes PS2 look like a super NES...
I doubt it. AFAIK, it should be just an exclusive deal with Sony, although I'd say it could be possible that they have a little hold on Sony as well. I think I read somewhere that Sony would basically give Rockstar the greenlight for any game since they want to keep GTA on a Sony console. So they may have both sold their souls. If it does come out for the X-BOX, I'd guesstimate that it would probably come out it mid to late 2005, almost around the time of the next console for Microsoft. I'm not sure how thrilled Rockstar would be to try and sell a year old game around the same time as a next-gen console.
Well it sure as hell worked... Vice City was pretty much the entire reason I bought a console, and guess which one it was still exclusive to at the time...
