I believe there is some weird rule where you can bring back a player that has already fouled out when you only have 4 players left who are under the foul limit but the other team shoots a tech every time a foul is committed after that. I'm not sure at all of this but I think I read something to this effect in another thread several months ago.
nah, player who fouls out get to stay, but he gets a technical. btw, i see some of u guys are giving up on the warriors. theyre gonna win, cuz jazz is just playing horrible
The Warriors will have to play hard to avoid a strong Utah run, and group of refs who might fall for some late-game flopping.
Don't forget the importance of that last game. Utah @ Lakers... the Lakers obviously are locked into their position and if Cleveland have secured HC for the playoffs by then they really have nothing to play for....except that if I am the Lakers I would rather not have to go to SLC even with the Jazz sucking and would prefer to play the Mavs, so I wouldn't be surprised if you see the Lakers send out a depleted side and hope the Rockets knock off the Mavs. Thinking a bit ahead I know but a likely event.
Man. Utah is in full-tank mode right before it matters the most. They might not be such a fearsome opponent afterall if they keep losing all their games up until the playoffs. On a random note, Orlando continues to choke to every bottom feeder team in the league. Strange.
Yet another stupid foul by the Jazz with time running out on the shot clock. The Jazz do look awful but I won't be shocked if they make a big run to get back into it.
i'm sure who they send out will try and win but if theres nothing left to win for don't expect to see Kobe and Gasol playing big minutes if at all.
That's what I was thinking as well. But if Cleveland loses to Boston tomorrow, the Jazz game will have meaning since it's a possibility the Cavs could lose to Philadelphia the next day.
