I'm fine with giving curry a pass, but you have to give Harden a pass too he had WAY more responsibility than curry. I'm not saying you, but some people here were destroying harden, and now curry looks average, you can't make excuses for one and not the other

Of course it wasn't Gallo who singlehandly beat us in one of the games.

From December onward, most Rockets fans thought we had the best backcourt in the league, but those who didn't are like predators, waiting to strike out when the preys are at their weakest.

there's no need to wait for a bad game or series to find an argument against that.

Unless you think the Rockets would have beaten the Nuggets in a series, this discussion between how many games they would go is irrelevant.

Judging by our performance vs the thunder and the warriors performance vs the nuggets, its reasonable to think we would have won vs the nuggets

You're only as good as your last game in the NBA.

I think the Rockets probably would have beaten Denver, but I obviously don't know. Either way, the discussion isn't about how many games they would go. It's about the relevance of regular season head-to-head results in predicting playoff series. As shown by the 2011 Bulls (who swept the Heat in the regular season before losing in the playoffs), the formula doesn't always work.

Good point. It's not like the Rockets played the Thunder, with Westbrook, down to the last second in Oklahoma City.

Oh, that's right. They did. Sorry.

OP is known to be a big fan of Nuggets and Curry. He will put down Morey, Lin, or Rockets just to make his points. Since we beat OKC without WB, they must be 'mediocre.'.

Yup, that makes Rockets more of less like a Dleague team getting swept by Nuggets, who were without a superstar and Gallo.

If he even a Rockets fan??

Harden can drop 30 while going 4-17

That is why he is a superstar

you claim that I am a Nuggets fan, because of THOSE posts? Wow, I need to take a moment to stop laughing. I'm a nuggets fan just because i think that they would beat the rockets in the playoffs? Guess that also makes me a Heat, Spurs, Grizzlies, Pacers, and Clippers fan as well. Fact is I'm one of the few people on here that isn't biased when talking about other teams or the Rockets. Unlike some blind homers on here, i actually talk basketball fairly. if I'm not saying that harden is the best, or that morey is perfect, I am attacked by homers.

You agreed that Gallo beat us by himself in one of the wins, and how Nuggets offense was so much better with him. Because they lost to GSW, you said they lack of superstar talent which really hurt them in post season. Yet, they will beat us in a 5?

What does it make Rockets look like??

You also brought up the argument that Masai Ujiri deserving of winning GM of the year over Morey because they are championship caliber "contender" and yet, they don't have a superstar in their team, which will hurt them in POs and make them difficult to win.

You disregard that Morey blew up a team and only measured his success of +3 games from last season as one of the reasons +10 games Masai Ujiri is more deserving.

You, sir, are one of the most biased posters here.
