Splash Brothers in the playoffs >>>>>>>>>>> Beardsanity in the playoffs. Reg season I think Beardsanity had the edge. Since playoffs is where it counts, Splash Brothers wins out for now.
The Rockets won the regular season series vs GS this year taking 3 games out of four. That pretty much sums it up. Besides, Curry and Thompson have been together longer. Give Lin and Harden time and they will get better. It's not the actual age, Lin has the least NBA experience and minutes of them all. I have complete confidence in Lin that he will make the LOH eat dirt next year.
Yep. I was. On the real tho. GSW backcourt is better than ours because we have Lin. It's been real inconsistent backcourt for our team.
Depends on the playoff version or the regular season version this years. Regular season I would take our starting back court. Playoffs, I would've taken Stephen Curry and Thompson. Can you imagine their backcourt against OKC without WB? 1st round upset guaranteed
i think i pissed jeremy off :S said on his facebook update 'oi quit cooking for ya mum and work on your jumpshot' got a few likes, nekminit got deleted LOL i was joking ofcourse..
Lin may be a d-league scrub in some of your eyes but Curry has d-league scrub ankles. He is one crossover away from crutches.

It's a team sport. Curry is the best at creating space for the team among all 4. If not for his weak ankles, I'd take him over Harden as the franchise player. Thompson benefits a lot from that. IMO, he is a better shooting version of Parsons. When defense keys in on him, he will fall down to average quickly. He is maybe Hamilton level of player right now. But he might develop into a Ray Allen level. Lin has the most room to improve. You have to give him props for being this effective with such rough tools he currently mastered from shooting to dribbling and passing. So, individually I'd say Curry=Harden, Thompson slightly more valuable than Lin. But as team, Curry + Thompson >> Harden + Lin.
There's some crazy fad going on here with Thompson. I've actually been watching Golden State all year because of Curry, and his shooting is arguably the best of all time. In fact, I even knew they were good enough to easily beat Denver. But Thompson? Dude's not that good. Having him being compared to Harden/Allen/ is just a joke. There's a reason why his PER is such crap: he's basically a---insert random 3 pointer shooter---with a greenlight.
in terms of pure basketball, i think curry this season is better than harden. he's better at creating his own shot cuz of his handles, and he's more diverse in terms of where he can score. mid-range, p&r, off the dribble, behind the arc obviously. iirc, i saw a stat that showed steph shot like 60% from three from the corners. but i think harden has more potential (it's already close as it is), and he's definitely got less injury concern (knock on mf'in wood). i think klay is ridicuously overrated. he scores under league wide efficiency, is very streaky, and has mediocre to poor shot selection. still...i think klay is prob better than lin atm (in terms of fit), but i also think lin has a higher potential too. i think the splash bros are/have been better this year..but our backcourt has more potential.
