It is not going to be a surprise who is waiting for us or the Spurs in the WCF this year.

No surprise against Hayward, Gobert and Co.

    Super Marvel friends/villain team GSW!

Deepest team now, better than the 2nd best deep Cavs.

The odds are not good but we keep on fighting.

If we somehow get to GSW and take 1 game from them I will call it a victory.

Is the purpose of this thread to announce that the warriors won and will play the winner of our series with the spurs?

If so, thanks for the information.

I mean yeah of course GSW is happy...they got KD back and now Parker and Nene are both injured and out of the season.

I hope King James crushes those smug AF guys.

Or how about we upset them in the WCF? I'd much prefer that. My concern is that the NBA will never give us a fair shake if we get past the Spurs. They want a Warriors-Cavs three-match in the Finals.

There's pretty much 0 chance of Rox winning against GSw, esp. not woth Brickderson building a castle in the sky this playoffs.

The Warriors looked unbeatable in the first two rounds last year too.

Well if (when) we get past the Spurs we will definitely be the underdog against the GSW. They simply have more talent.

What I'm most excited to see play out is that the Rockets brass knows this, has publicly acknowledged it, and has already told us their plan for it (increase the variance!!!),

Now we've lost Nene. We're going to play half the game with Flyin Ryan at the 5 in our very own homeless man's version of the lineup of death? We won't see 50 3's a game, we're going to see 60.

This mean the Warriors beat the Jazz and moved onto the next round.

Taking 60 3s a game...I'm fine with that. Rockets need to make around 15 or so to give the Warriors a run for their money per game right? There was a statistic I read on here a while back where the Warriors had a very pedestrian record in games where opponents made at least 12 3s. If Rockets can consistently shoot 15/60 3s a game......that's not a great percentage....but could still be potent in winning.

I don't think 15 makes out of 60 attempts gets it done. I think the Rockets need to make 20 out of 60 at a minimum and even then they better hope they can surprise everyone in the offensive rebounding department on those long rebounds.

I really think the Rockets have a chance to break the playoff record for most 3's made in a game against the Warriors, if only because of the sheer number of attempts I expect them to take.

Well, if the Rockets break the record against the Warriors (If they even get that far), they will certainly win that game lol hands down. But, 15/60 3s may or may not yield a win against the Warriors in a given game. I agree it's a bad percentage, but the sheer volume could win them the game.....certainly possible.
