Fisher does that ALL the time, he has pulled Luther down doing the exact same move. It was intentional, Fisher should be suspended. DD
The shame of that call is proven by the last 2 pages of this thread. Nobody is talking about the game. They are talking about the call.
The hell you say. I've been hating the Fakers for decades and will, if I'm lucky, hate them for more decades to come. They suck. Go to a Fakers Forum, if you want to hang on to their shorts. (with all due respect!)
you know how we often bash fans of other teams for being illogical, ignorant, etc... man, you just made them all look like 1st class fans, lakers is an awesome team, and kobe is the best player, and since lakers doesn't really have beef with rox, just enjoy the game man
That's because the call ruined a really hard fought game. All of those guys gutted it out only to have the game end by a bogus call by the ref and it was a late whistle at that. The killer part is, David Stern always defends his refs no matter what, and in a case like such won't even institute instant replay. It's enough to make the average fan upset because of one, ruining a great game, and two seeing a team robbed of an opportunity, and giving it to the opponent for the win.
How did they get a lucky one? they were up big and lost the lead. they did not benefit from anything from the refs just time clutch shooting from stephen jackson. unless you mean they were lucky because the lakers had a massive brain fart in leaving the guy open twice on consecutive possessions, then yes there were lucky. the call in GS was total BS...i really hope to see GS play the lakers in the first round and hopefully knock them off
well, being a laker fan doesn't mean I can not be a rockets fan, can't I love both teams? for i love Lakers cause i am from LA, while loving rox cause i love Yao, i just fail to see how ya all gotta hate on lakers, they are a fun team to watch and they haven't caused any bitter harms to rox like jazz or mavs did
odd cuz i hate the lakers because i am from LA and I love the rockets because of everyone from the days of Hakeem (when I started watching) to now
No, you have to choose between the good guys and the bad guys. Loving both the Lakers and the Rockets is like loving both Palpatine and Yoda. You'll have to go to the dark side to love the Lakers. If you don't get this, then you are more naive than Anakin.
Well, this is the NBA Dish forum. But this doesn't bother me. The more "hate" a team gets is directly proportional to how good they are. If they were'nt any good, then we wouldn't be talking about them. I mean I don't see any of us complaining how a Knicks game was rigged!
It isn't worth starting a new thread, but the Lakers have blown a home game against the Bobcats. The Bobcats were clearly ready to lay down and play dead and allowed the Lakers to score the first 10 points of the 4th quarter. But a couple of TOs and Kobe stupidly getting T'ed up twice within 2 minutes killed the rally. Now Luke Walton gets a T for throwing an arm at Raymond Felton. Pau better get back soon.
The NBA admitted the Ellis/Fisher play at the end of the game was a blown call and that a foul should have been called on Fisher. http://www.contracostatimes.com/warriors/ci_8727148?nclick_check=1
Wonder what his MVP supporters are going to say. How can the supposed front runner for MVP let his team fall to the lowly bobcats. Guess thats one thing Tmac can do that Kobe can't.
so rox never loses to a bad team? hmm... not from what i recall from time to time. anyone can have a bad game, even the best player in the league-kobe, is no exception, or , u can say bobcats had a fluke of a good game, i love how you clueless homers are so eager to jump the wagon to bash the lakers whenever u have the chance, or, simply put, jealous much?
and BTW, donno if u guys ever notice, whenever lakers are already losing and Walton goes on the court, something bad happens for the lakers, he either runs someone over, or has a TO, or misses a shot(most likely gets blocked from doing his never changing turn around half jump half hook shot).
