Memphis is killing this offseason. They now got, for mike conley: iggy, korver, jae crowder, along with four first round picks (two lottery picks most likely) 1. Grayson Allen (21st last year) 2. (brandon clarke, 21 this year) 3. (utah future first likely lottery in 2022) 4. (warriors future 1st, 2024, likely lottery) A haul. Memphis is winning this offseason by a lot.
We can add Reggie Bullock to that esteemed list. I really like what Memphis is doing but I don't know if I could go so far as to say they're winning the off-season by blowing it up. I think Jaren Jackson Jr, Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke is a promising young core to build around and I like that they're adding draft picks but they're likely a half a decade away from winning actual games.
The grizzlies got lucky that they landed the #2 pick in the draft, but since then they are willing making smart moves, and I am one that never wanted conley traded: they paid Jonas about half of what they SHOULD have paid him. Part of that was that the league are overvaluing guards over centers, but it was still a great move that allowed them to take iggy on and STILL be able to resign delon wright. The grizzlies have just about re-built overnight. But you want to throw zingers, let me throw one at you. You know what the difference between the grizzlies and the rockets is? The grizzlies have hope.
hope lmfao. hope that morant works out? lol can't believe i just read someone claim hope as some savior. will hope get his jersey retired
LOL with that core, you think Utah's a lottery team in three years?? Ridiculous. Hard to project what GS does in the next few years too.
