Get your money out, put it in your mattress, and wait... in a few months you should be able to pickup real estate for pennies on the dollar from banks who are left holding the bag.

By the way, for those of you interested in Oregon Coast real estate... you should really start watching... I'm seeing an increasing number of beach properties coming on the market.

Yeah,it was the perfect storm. But we can't dance at all parties, right?

I ended up picking up a lot of ZOLT today as I enjoyed the first run and thought this was the buy in for the second..

...... also been buying into IBM the last couple of days and picked up US Steel cheap this morning.

I know what you mean though robbie. There have been a lot of incredible swing plays.

This kind of volatility is a trader's (and hedge fund's) dream

I wonder if its time to pick up some Dell and HP. Both seem to be trading around 15x earnings right now...not bad for IT companies. Apple and Google are trading at around 40 or 50x still.

Personally I'm waiting for the next big rally so I can dump everything and move all my funds to Nigeria. My investments over there have yielded more than 120% in the past couple of years.

I made a million dollars from Nigeria. All I had to do was give them my bank account number. When the funds show up, I plan on buying and flipping a bunch of houses to triple my million.

Joke all you want, but Nigeria's emerging stock market is one of the world's most profitable and is expected to continue growing at an impressive rate for the next few years. Plus, it's relatively immune to shocks from other international markets as the level of foreign investment is still low and it is less dependent on the oil sector than the economy as a whole. One mutual fund I purchased in 2006 has since doubled in value.

What was the rationale behind your ZOLT entry? Fundamental, Technical, Oversold, Seasonal etc..?

That's pretty good that you have succeeded with some of these exotic markets. South Africa is a good investment in Africa as well. Others like Zimbabwe are a joke. Malaysia and Vietnam are also bound for gains in the years to come in the emerging market scene.

Do you work closely with Nigerian business or do you travel there often?

I'm from there. Don't travel often but I did last year and hope to do so again this year. It amazes me how much potential for growth is there, now that lots of stuff is being privatized and there is a major push from the government to make the economy less oil-dependent. Many of the banks are capitalizing like crazy and given the immense population (140 million) it's hard not to see the economy continue growing like this for the next few years. Their goal is to make Nigeria the financial capital of Africa. I'm just trying to get in on the action while it's still really good.

I was in on the first run for ZOLT.I've been waiting for it to come back to earth.Buying and selling patterns usually do it for me.I love factoring in many variables(world events and the geopolitical ramifications, the Dow/Nas,market events, etc.) but alas this isn't always the case.Zolt has good fund. going forward and has diversified well. The carbon technology used in the Stealth has been broadly applied here with money put back into the company to promote organic growth.
It's on low volume shake at the moment.

With TIE,once again I caught part of the initial ride and have waited. It bounced off 17 with nice accumulation.

I bought more IBM and X today, once again very cheap.
