Not my fault he has failed to take care of himself and that somehow he is still alive. A heart attack seems highly likely at this point but it's not like he is doing anything to strain it so I could be wrong.

I can see where he's coming from...imagine having to constantly deal with multiple Comic Book Guys and tinmens every time you leave the house or go online.
I kind of stopped caring a while back when I realized that he was never going to finish, and the reason he wasn't going to finish is because he pretty much stopped caring once the HBO show passed him up. If he were to finish at this point, I can't imagine the product would be a good one. His heart just isn't in it. It's the only real reason why he would be spending so much time on all this peripheral crap or completely unrelated things like Elden Ring. That's what he enjoys now. he doesn't want to finish the main series. So I moved on to Wheel of Time. I'm only on book 9 but I'm quite confident Robert Jordan will finish HIS series. cough
If he did in fact give HBO his rough plot outline for finishing the series and everyone hated it (all HBO’s fault however), maybe that has also made him rethink/lose confidence as well. Like the poster above, perhaps he lost interest and it isn’t as if he owes anyone anything.
Jordan made sure his baby was completed, thankfully he and his wife chose the perfect writer to finish it after he died. Sanderson is the real deal as a writer unlike that hack Martin.
That’s my guess also. Either he saw the reaction to the HBO adaptation and realized it’s pointless or he now doesn’t want to go a different direction than how the series ended.
ANY, ANY, ANY ending is better thank giving the keys to the kingdom to an invalid who isn't even who he was before the accident. WORST ENDING EVER.
The ending was a joke. I dont care what anyone says. That whole group discussion...why any of them sat around for that is beyond me.. top of that, they gonna let the prison suggest ideas? get out of here.
