No joke. That ranks up there along with b****ing at the guy in front of you for standing up during the game and being too loud.

Seeing people wear jorts with jerseys make me crack up

Get a nice Texans/Rockets/Astros polo to wear

imo a rockets jersey at the gym/pool or playing basketball is ok

Remember in 7th grade when it mattered what you wore and what others might think of you?

7th grade mentality is... umm... not what "grown men" worry about.

If, in my leisure-away-from-work time, I decide to sport a jersey, or even wear some shorts while doing so... I could care less what you think.

I was rockin' that style in '95 when I met my wife... and she's still smokin' hot and cool with me being me.

Do I dress better for most outings and events? Yes.

Do I care if you don't like my outfit? Ask me.

Get me an authentic Lorenzo White jersey and this becomes a very, very hard question to answer.

A few questions come to mind. 1) Did your vagina hurt by having to be around so many common peons? 2) Is one form of conformist a-hole is better than the other? and 3) Since when is having "neatly pressed khaki shorts" at a college football some sort of badge of honor?

This is what I do. I think it is pretty prole to wear someone else's name on your back.

I get into this argument with one of my roomates all the time.

remember when your dad wore his socks knee high with his coach's shorts with no pleats and his polo shirt tucked and in and you were embrrassed to go anywhere with him. You think your dad gave a damn about what you or anyone else thought about his attire. that's what made him a grown ass man. my how times have changed.

Or mowed the yard in knee high black socks.....

Now I get it...they were just shooting the finger at the fashion police.

In honor I am going out to get me some knee high black socks and mow that yard........

    :D

I don't have any Rockets jerseys because I don't think I'd look good in them; and I don't go to enough games to warrant buying one just for that. But I do wear my Astros and Texans replicas. My two Astros jerseys I wear quite a bit because it fits my style (I like wearing button downs, short or long, sometimes unbuttoned sometimes not.) The Texans jersey I don't wear as much (during the offseason) but still enough (during the season). It's not authentic and thus has more of a t-shirt fit, so it doesn't look all long and baggy. I wear these with either cargos (pants or shorts) or jeans and I think I look just fine. If anybody has a problem with it I don't give a *****. I'm gonna proudly support my team wherever I am.

i used to pimp out my rockets gear at work like on fridays, but alas, the machine has taken over...

i stopped wearing them due to 'professionalism.'

i still wear them to games when i go or around the house. but i'm coming up on 30... actually wearing them out with my fiance or at work is not really an option anymore.

I don't. I own some cargo shorts that look similar to khakis and all my other shorts are the hurley type long shorts and no they aren't khaki.

I'd rather wear jorts and sport a mullet than look like one of those every day douchebags at UT football games wearing their UT polo shirt, "pressed khaki shorts" (that are too short), the UT hat/visor, and birkenstocks. They all look the same and they are all toolboxes IMO.

yeah, and you look totally different than all the other droves of guys wearing cargo shorts, jerseys, and nikes... everyone conforms to something, so stop thinking you dont.

it's just that my conformity is better than your conformity, that's all.

    Pleated, pressed, and tucked in.

Wear your Hurley with your straight billed hat sideways and some graphic tee with a dragon and scorpion and you won't look stupid at all.

I don't think that everybody conforms. I know I don't try to look like a group or set of other people, I go with what I like, not what everybody else does.
