nothing stops this train. buy bitcoin, gold, real estate and other hard assets However we can make long term plans. Ss, medicare and Eisenhower interstate system are examples. We can create mandates to increase energy production and space exploration
This is another classic SG post that on its face looks normal, but when you think about it is all over the place. -Lumping in bitcoin while promoting "hard assets" is ... well something. -You literally voted in this last election (or at least have been an online activist for) to undermine those long term planned systems. Voting for Republicans and Trump is a direct challenge to those systems. -Who is the "we" here that is creating federal govt. mandates? If you aren't referring to the federal govt. then really who is "we"? -What do you mean by increasing energy production? Of course everyone wants more energy, but how you are getting that energy matters. -Space exploration.... kind of a random part of this statement. What is it about space exploration that has anything to do with economic and environmental stability? I think advancing the science and discovering how we can terraform is crucial. Not just because of having the ability to travel for more than a couple weeks to Mars, but because we need to terraform the earth back into the earth here soon. You are just sort of all over the place here man. Much of this is interesting discussion but what does any of it have to do with the fact that grocery prices are through the fcking roof right now, and these tariff policies are making the core issue that brought down Biden (inflation) 10% worse. This aint about going to Mars, or terraforming the Pluto. It's about some really freaking basic economic policy that is making my life worse right now directly, and also causing major uncertainty and instability in the larger corporate world most of us work in.
I can't get over this statement. And if you really gave it a serious thought, and didn't just write it off as a condescending elitist type of remark, practically if you were to base your entire weekly diet off of a brisket as your core protein for $65 dollars, that isn't also considering the cost of a smoker, the cost of the pellets if you use a pellet smoker, the cost of the rub, the cost of the butcher paper, and the cost of the sides, veggies, carbs, etc. To have this as your core protein for the week, you are into this investment well over 100 dollars anyways which is about what it would cost you to get a few days of regular groceries anyways. Not only that but eating brisket every day would diminish the satisfaction that you get from enjoying good brisket when you get it periodically on a special occasion which probably has some emotional value in retaining that satisfaction, and not making myself fcking hate brisket because I ate it for a week straight, and ended up looking like this guy:
Fair. I rotate weeks. One week, chicken in my salads. Week 2, Brisket in my salads. Week 3, Pork in my salads. By the end of the week, I am ready for a change, you are right. I like salads because you can add so many different flavors via olives, peppers, spices, dressing, etc. I do lazy keto so my carbs are low so I won't ever look like that guy. My point about brisket is that you can get a good bang for your buck. And it's meat like OP was referencing. And it's delicious.
Well, no. How many super focused, driven, stressed out Boomers are looking at living even another 20 years, let alone five? They don't look at long term gains, just gimmie gimmie gimmie **** my grandkids they can do it themselves the lazy gay punks! Never mind that the greatest economy in the history of the world was handed to us on a silver platter by our parents and we have royally ****ed it up. Also, **** the climate. Here’s your shitty Dollar General Christmas present. Now turn on Fox News so I can stew in my hate and not talk to anyone who loves me.
hey, a related question. I was just having a hamburger for lunch (@ $7.99/lb) but noticed that my paper plate is not compostable in California. Anyone know why? I assume it will rot in California just as it would rot anywhere else. #SoManyQuestions
