I get the impression Francis still intends to play. I would also assume that teams do have an interest in signing him. So, what took the Grizzlies so damn long to waive the guy?

Francis could be 350 lbs with a missing arm and some people would still want us to sign him.

Between his children's books and the 42 million dollar contract, Kelvin can afford his own private Golden Corral.

I'm starting to think both teams lost on that trade. At least with McGrady we are pretenders, with those other three we were nothing.

He'll be big enough to back up Yao then.

I just saw this this morning that he was waived.

I must say that I am a bit surprised. But I suppose he wouldn't get PT on a team filled with youth and already with 2 up and coming PG's.

As far as his future I dare to say that he may end up in either Boston who have been looking for some added depth and since he can play SOME SG maybe he goes there.

If not here then MAYBE Phoenix and their backup PG experiment with Dragic hasn't been all that great.

But I think he can end up helping somewhere.

But I don't know if he gets back on here in Houston.
