(found this while I was looking around for more information on the Maverick's call for a game replay against the Rockets....)

PS - is there some reason that hoopsworld shows up as asterisks when posted in a URL?

Wafer Close to Signing With Grizz?

Source: Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal

The Grizzlies moved closer to signing Von Wafer Monday when the free-agent guard went through a series of physicals for the team. Memphis is expected to officially announce the addition of Wafer as soon as today. Wafer, a 6-5 Florida State alum, recently agreed to a buyout with a Greek team, Olympiakos. Wafer last played in the NBA with the Rockets during the 2008-09 season, when he averaged 9.7 points on 44.7-percent shooting. He connected on 39 percent of his 3-point attempts.

its generally regarded as a crap site that either posts "info" with no substantial source or steals from other sources

its articles has caused more problems than anything else over the past 5 (however long it has been up) years here esp in the GARM

Thanks both to you and BBob; I won't go there anymore then. Is there anywhere on clutchfans that lists blacklisted sites? I've been to the BBS Hangout, don't recall seeing one.

    thanks again for the information.

no really there isnt any blacklisted sites I can think of outside of hoopsworld and possibly hoopshype?

other than that pretty much anything is good

Also if a article is posted from realgm please post the original source (real gm tends to take articles from AP, local newspapers and post on their site but they have the original link in their 'article' so post that link and not the realgm link)

Buyout Jaric could create cap space to absorb Brian Cook's contract. Signing Wafer could take away that cap space.

If the Grizzlies really want Von Wafer, we'll trade him for Mark Gasol.
