I would do battier for thabeet and a protected 1st. Then imagine if we go flip scola for green . Our 4 and 5 would be hayes and thabeet.... 0 offense but lockdown defense
Change of scenery would be ideal.. especially with Hakeem being Houston. Then bring in Mayo and don't limit him Then try and get a star
The rumor is Battier for Thabeet, not Lee. I think some posters were throwing Lee in the deal to get Mayo, who they obviously view as better than Lee.
I think if the rockets go the Thabeet route, then Adelman will probably not be the coach next year as they may start to rebuild.
Dude, this is his second year, and barely even played in his rookie year. So really this is his rookie year...
Morey is asking for too much and it might bite us in the ass at the end. I'm hoping that he doesn't end up with OKC or the Jazz. 7'3" mobile, athletic young centers rarely come around often. Bring him here, pep him up, and have Hakeem as his mentor. Would hate seeing Battier go but Twill needs to start and we need a center with legit size and upside. Time to move along and take a "risk". This could pay off big in the end.
Who cares? There is a good chance adelman wont be here next anyway. Maybe the next coach will play him for his rim protection and rebounding.
Hasheem Thabeet = black, shorter version of Shawn Bradley... tall, lengthy, "potential"...but just another bust in the making.. DO NOT WANT

He has some good mechanics on his shot and has the tools to develop a solid hook shot. Now I think he'll ever live up to his draft status, but I do think he can become a solid NBA starter on a contender at some point. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HRFftJqL2xk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
