I read it ..... but I've watched this guy play from the get go in college and in his VERY limited NBA minutes....stuck behind Gasol without the resources/court time like we have to develop/motivate him.... Many of us here are pretty darn good at evaluating players, you included robbie380......We're not always right,but we give it our best. no need to be rude bro. Getting Thabeet isn't the reason for such a trade. At least, I don't hope we have that much faith or hope in his ability. If he can just be a 7'3 shotblocking Center for 20-25mpg right now, that's plenty. That pick is vital. That's where it's at.
