What the hell are the two refs looking at when BG runs full speed down the court and pushed Mario Chalmers out of the way, at the top of the key? How do they not see that? That is beyond terrible officiating. BG is an exciting player, but he is getting the reputation for being a dirty player, too; and Baron Davis won't be able to protect him when players retaliate.

No Doubt. I first noticed how He plays when I watched the Clippers vs Sactown game early in the season. He was doing it to Landry and to me it looked like Landry was starting to get pissed. Its one thing to play tough but its another thing to play rough. Outside the NBA he would get bean'd on playing like that. Andre Miller had the same reaction Tmac had on that Boston rookie when he checked him into Yao. I still remember one game, Houston vs Utah, were Boozer intentionally manhandled Scola and screamed out "I'ma foul the F' outta him". No one on the Rockets did anything. I was hoping someone would have waited till the next rebound and done exactly what Miller did to Griffin. Personally I like Griffin, but dont go around crying about cheap shots when you are playing the way you do.
from a Clippers broadcast... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OrZykkTy4Ko?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OrZykkTy4Ko?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> Honestly, after watching Griffin play I just might have to buy his jersey, and the last jersey I bought was Barkley's Rockets one.
Blake G was beasting last night against the pacers. 47 pts and 14 rbds!!!! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/a8rlBX7LXJw?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/a8rlBX7LXJw?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
At least Artest is still getting ejected from games for no reason like he did a few times in the LA series
I said this in another thread: I said this to my friend on predictions of Blake Griffin: 2010-11 ROY 2010-11 Dunk Contest Winner 2011-12 Better than Dwight Howard in Dunks and Rebounds 2011-12 NBA Defensive POY and/or MIP 2013-14 Leads the league in Blocks 2013-14 Championships?!?! and Final MVP?!?! 2013-14 MVP 2017-18 Ranked top 100 in PF in NBA History 2024-25 HOF and jersey retires (if he is very healthy for the rest his career) This could happen...i hope i didnt go to far
^^ with what team he is going to win the 2013-2014 championship? well, I havent seen him playing a lot, but is he really good at defense to win the DPOY award next year?
Honestly, I don't see the problem with being physical with Blake. The guy's crazy good and teams are trying to figure out how to deal with him. If it takes a few cheap shots to clip his wings a little, I'm all for it. If someone was doing that to me, I know I'd make him get acquainted with the floor every time he's even near me.
He's a Clipper, you forgot to list all the years he'll spend rehabbing an injured body part. He's due for a leg bone injury in a couple of years after he's sufficiently raised the hopes of Clipper nation.
