he is doin it on the clippers too. best that has happend to the lac since sam cassell took them to the playoffs. mad props.
Maybe 45 points and 15 rebounds, he's destroying the Pacers. I guess he's using all this as motivation.
dude is unbelievable. he just put up the highest point total in the NBA this year. 47 points, 14 boards. if he keeps this up he might just become a jordan hill type player.
But... he did lose a year due to the Clippers curse. I feel preemptively sorry his potential will be wasted due to that particular curse. That said... damn, dude's FUN to watch right now.
What's gonna make this guy so horrible for other teams to defend in the future is the fact he can pass. They are about 1 more player from being a team that can reach the playoffs and being a dark-horse nightmare for higher seeds to beat. How can you stop him if he eventually gets solid role-players/a bench who can hit shots from his passes? If his team gets one more player/or a bench and learns to play defense, forget about defending him, you're done.
...did you notice of the top 5 highest individual scoring games in the NBA this year, one was by a Rocket(Martin's 45) and TWO were against the Rockets(Monta's 46 and Wade's 45). Ouch.
...I don't mean for this to be a knee jerk reaction to today's game, but I was just thinking that not even in the earliest days of Lebron was I as excited to follow a player as I am watching Blake. I love the aggressive, never quit style. It just seems way more fun watching him play then Lebron (with the exception of Lebron's run down blocks from his Cleveland days).
Odom wasn't playing him today...it seems that other than Chuck Hayes...no one stops Blake Griffin. DD
