Actually, I wasn't terribly happy when we made that trade. At the time we had an excellent backcourt (Steve and Cat) and a couple good power forwards (Mo and KT), so we needed a SF and a C (Jefferson and Collins). Now I admit Brandon Armstrong is crap, but Jefferson is an excellent defensive-minded SF, and Collins could still be a good player. I admit I warmed to the trade a little more as time went on, but I've always been skeptical about it (one of the few people, apparently). Of course now we have Ming and Nachbar though, so things turned out for the better anyway.
I just wish Griffin (besides this game against Seattle) would show more tenacity and ferocious play like Jefferson does. I know he's running w/ a QUALITY POINT GUARD, but at least he's getting himself involved in the offense. I think Francis or Mobley are not spreading the ball enough to give opportunities to Griffin, Ming, Rice, etc. That is why we ended up w/ only 19 FREAKING ASSISTS LAST NIGHT!!!
