Was I the only one that saw Eddie getting pushed around there by summer league competition? I mean when dude posted up, he was way too far away from the basket because he was getting pushed out. On a few occasions, he ended up getting pushed underneath the basket on defense where he got a closeup view of the basketball falling through the hoop. He simply is not strong enough to match up with the PF's in this league, someday he will be strong enough, but definitely not anytime soon. ------------------ So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
I'm not even gonna get into why Griffin can't play the 5 next year. Remember, we are in the Western Conference. If Griffin plays 16 min at the 4/5, that leaves 80 minutes between Mo, Hakeem, KT, and Cato. Possible playing time: Mo - 30 min Hakeem - 20 min KT - 25 min Cato - 15 min That's 90 minutes right there. Plus it leaves 13 minutes a game without a real center. I just don't see Griffin getting the minutes at the 4 or 5. Griffin a 5. I think it is a give in that Mo starts ahead of KT. KT may do more things better than Mo but the one thing that Mo does better than KT is score and Mo is exceptional at that. With the edition of Eddie Griffin it may be hard to find minutes for KT at the 4 spot. KT is probably the best candidate for a trade. This is really the last post tonight. Why would a team trade us their potential 5 for Cato or Hakeem? They already have a 5 that is A)not lazy B)Not 38 and injury prone.
