The thing with Greg Oden is... he is prone to injury. He get's injured like every five minutes, whereas Blake Griffin is just dealing with an untimely injury, and he's pretty durable otherwise.

That sucks, hopefully he can fully recover. I was excited to see what he could do in the pros. So I guess Chris Kaman is the starting center for the West?

Wow. That's just crazy. Very sad. I hope we aren't all robbed of seeing another special talent fulfill his potential in the NBA.

Ouch. I was really looking forward to watching him play. Oh well, that's one less team to worry about in the west.

the only time the Clippers curse didn't work was when Clutch City Hero Sam Cassell took them to the 2nd round and almost to the WCF.

the power of Clutch City heroes > curses.

Stress fractures are so frustrating...I have one right now in my foot and it hurts when I play on it, especially after the game.

If he opted out for surgery, than good luck - road to recovery is long and hard so I wish him good luck.
Its the most frustrating to go down due to injury, sometimes some fans don't understand that.

Thank goodness I didn't pick him up in fantasy. I was pretty close until I read that he was going to see limited minutes.

With each passing year, Danny Ferry's prima donna refusal to sign with the Clippers if they drafted him looks smarter and smarter.

I still think Blake Griffin is a far more athletic talent than Greg Oden. Greg is just plain soft.

IMHO his own athletecism did him in. I mean the guy's built like a mach truck, but he jumps like a freaking guard. When he lands, the G's on his joints must be terrible. He should stop dunking and just resort to bank shots Duncan-style.
