This would be a first -- and not hard to do I might add -- a future lotto protected 2nd rounder. Get real, guys. Griff is barely 20 and will be a premier player in a short amount of time -- if given the chance.
The Rockets simply can not afford to trade any more big men for guards. Spree for Griffin straight up makes absolutely no sense at all for Houston. It also makes no sense for New York so Houston would be giving up Griffin and some and I just don't think Sprewell's worth much any more. Allan Houston is, but there's the astronomical contract keeping Allan in orange and blue for the foreseeable future. If we're talking to the Knicks, it better be for Harrington, Thomas, or McDyess. Thomas maybe, but not for what the Knicks would ask for. McDyess only if the Knicks are giving up on him and are willing to sell him to us cheap. Personally I think the only thing that makes the Knicks a potential trading partner with the Rockets if Van Gundy. I really don't see any good trade scenarios that work out for both teams.
Rox do not need Spee nor R.Wallace on their roster.I don't care how talented these players are...their past on and off court incidents speak for themselves !
mo taylor is bigger, stronger, is a proven banger, has a definate post move, and a money midrange jumper. his only deficiency is rebounding, which is almost the only thing griff CAN do. and yall wanna keep griff and ship mo?? unbelievable. if griff has taken this long to show ANYTHING then he is a bust. name more than 5 players who have taken more than 3 seasons to become decent. please. the best griff can hope to be is a theo ratcliff or a bo outlaw. but that is just my humble opinion!
Are you Mo Taylor's agent? Because to say he is a "proven banger" is a bold faced lie. I will agree that BBS members have a tendency to overlook Taylor's better than average offensive game, but they are right on when they say his rebounding and post defense are downright offensive and unacceptable for a starting power forward.
If obtaining Spree also means obtaining real power forwards (Othella, Kurt T.) and the #9, I'm all for it. And I think that's the only way we'd do it.
no, duece, i just watch every rockets game and i can see without being biased. so, your telling me that mo does not move people out of the way before he unleashes that lil hook? i mean, cause if thats what your telling me, then i will just have to believe that we watch 2 different games. and i guess that wasn't mo knockin' peeps around when yao gets messed with, huh? i mean, i guess you see what you see, but i coulda sworn that he is a MILLION times more physical than little griff and even webber(check out league pass, webber is pretty soft), but, i guess we can agree to disagree. its all good pappi.
