Mentioned him earlier, I'd be all for it. He's a good fit.

a big pg who is tough, a playmaker and a good shooter. I would love this guy off the bench.

Although I am not keen on him, if the Raptors are willing to trade him for the 18th pick, and K-Pap, Prigs( if he doesn't retire) or Dorsey, I would go ahead with it. If they insist on Nick instead of Prigs, or Dorsey, I can live with it.

Not sure why people are down on him LOL, this guy seems like our Jet/Prigs replacement. Plus, he's buddies with KD so now we have two guys KD would want to play with. The dude's 39% 3 pt shooter who can create plays, that's really all we need to know. The Rox have so much spare parts I don't it if some of the non core guys get trade for him.

The only possible downside I can think off though is with him and Llull do we still keep Bev around? Hopefully we do because we don't have a good defender at the PG and SG slots, NJ has the D down but can't really do anything else.

I'd rather we keep the pick and trade TJones instead, dude's been a good player but his contract's almost up we might not be able to keep him long term. For me the best trade is if we unload TJones, Kpap and either Prigs/Jet/Nick Johnson for Vasquez and Patterson. Hell maybe we can even throw Dorsey at them, at least he's another big body in the East.

Lack of D, is the reason why I am not keen on him. I admit, he can be helpful as a combo guard with his shooting, and as a secondary passer.

As a PG (combo guard) off the bench, that's what you are going to get. Everyone has warts and those that don't have warts generally aren't available.

Vasquez would be a very solid guard off the bench for the Rockets. Versatile to play multiple positions and is 6M expiring.

If Llull doesn't come over, I wouldn't mind. He is a solid pick up for the MLE at a position of need. Everything Jeremy Lin was supposed to be for us and he can actually dribble the ball with his left hand.

    Quick scouting report on Grievous:

    PROS:

Good size, surprisingly athletic, great swagger, and was trained solidly in the fundamentals. Also not afraid of any matchup.

    CONS:

Health, weak chest plate, shot by Obi-Wan in the chest and exploded.

Morey: "Mr. Vasquez, I don't want you to feel that you are our second choice, because you are not. You are our third choice".

 Jk, I like Vasquez, very good shooter and he can run the point.

Yes, that is true. We can't expect more than that. I think the Raptors may agree to a trade because of his UFA status. I do expect them to ask quite a bit in return.
Ujiri isn't easy to deal with.

That's why it's important to keep Beverley around IMO.

The Raptors might feel the same way too. A 4 yr player on a cheap contract vs
giving TJ a lot while retaining Amir Johnson sounds pretty good to me.
That doesn't mean that Jones doesn't have any value. He can be insurance for us with D-Mo's injury.

I wouldn't mind him in the slightest in a back-up role behind Llull.
