Feigen said that we would not cut him. But since he is out for the rest of the season I think we could sign camby right? Camby would be nice just to have as insurance or maybe match ups.

So it looks like since Greg Smith is signed on for only 884K, its going to be tough to find a replacement player for only 442K (pro-rated I'm sure). Even Camby will probably not roll out of bed for that little amount unless he's just bored out of his mind. Still I wouldn't rule out Morey using this exception and signing a player from the D-League for insurance that will take this low amount. That or Morey decides to waive Smith and then use the team's exception to sign Camby or Ben Gordon.
