I think AB did what he was supposed to do on that game. I'll blame that lost to Coach Adelman. Having 24 seconds to go, there are more plays that he can draw that is a lot better than the obvious ones. AB took the ball to the basketball and Yao slammed it before that last important play. IMO, it will be a lot easier for AB if he uses Yao in a high pick and roll. TD was obviously expecting AB to drive to the basket for a lay in... AB did that against Shaq, then again against TD before that play... They could have done a lot better on that game... I think the only mistake that AB did on that play is forcing a shot and not knowing how much time was left... He could have easily pull out and pass the ball to an open man... I totally agree with Coach Popovich, AB has a lot more to learn in terms of winning and losing. He will surely play a huge factor in the playoffs. Remeber that he hasn't won a single game in the playoff as a started as far as I remember... The Rockets chose to go this direction, I'm sure they saw something in AB and KL... I can only hope for the best...
I think it'd be a mistake to put Popovich on Brooks. He may have been quick when he was younger, but he just doesn't have the speed or the reflexes to keep up with Brooks now.
