There's only two more games so this is the smart move. This will provide more opportunity to evaluate guys fighting to get an invite to camp or the valley.

Honestly overtraining can cause hamstring injuries.

That's when a professional NBA training staff comes in and teaches Green the proper ways to train. I'm sure Green will listen. I want the dude to have a long career.

The media likes Green's high flying ultra quick play style over Harden's methodical bully ball.

I’m guessing they’re going with the “better safe than sorry” approach. And at the end of the day it’s just Summer League and not particularly important. But I definitely wanted to see more Green

In a summer league game? Ya. And it in isn't load management because there is a injury here. It's just rather minor and they don't want to risk it for summer league action.

I just hope Garuba gets a few good naps in before the next game. Dude looked jet-lagged as hell.

So JC will take 25 shots now? ;)

(Side note: Sorry but “Jaygup” is a terrible nickname. What is a “Jaygup” anyways?)

They explained it last night during the game.

    It’s a childhood nickname. Gup = guppy ... it’s a play on his big brother’s nickname PatFish
    So little fish type nickname
I’m little cutts for the same reason.

I kinda like sticking to your childhood nicknames

Dammit - and all we got were two "bad" games from JG. I really hope he flashes more in the preseason or im calling bust.

    ;)

on the cool this guy's outside shot is wet AF - much more so than I expected. If he's going to be a deadly sharpshooter PLUS all the other stuff its going to be a Reggie Miller type arc IMO. Dude wasn't even dunking or trying to show off the athleticism. JG was single handedly getting the team back in the game where did it get before he came up limp - within 8 points from 20+ down? That's star power.
