Actually 19.8, had over 23 ppg, 4 boards and 7.5 assists as well. Don't be hating on The Answer.

Were you not referring to his 5 game stretch? That’s what you quoted. Now you’re talking about full season stats I’m assuming. He averaged 30 shots over those 5 games. That is a fact not hate and still impressive. He was one of my favorite players and a legend. Relax

Same here, I have mad respect for a guy his size putting up numbers like that. Definitely a legend.

His slow start and the Rockets being awful set the narrative early that Mobley and Barnes were the guys. Also, Cade’s numbers are a little better overall if you include rebounds and assists. He’ll finish top 5 but it’s hard to argue he earned roty.

    Iverson was a little man.

Normal sized men looked up to him but boy, he was disadvantaged in the game of basketball!

I had been thinking the same. Was wondering why no one had mentioned it until yesterday.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...oy-conversation-draftkings-roy-predestination

If he wraps up the season on a 7 game 30pt streak, breaking a 40 yr record in the process, how could he not be in the conversation with Cade and Mobley?

Good time to be a Rockets fan.

    When's the lottery?

The only worry I ever had about him was that he was playing to much like McGrady and settled on long ass jumpers. I love that he tries to get to the rim and his jumpers count for 3 and not for 2. The choice was always between Cade and Green during the draft. Really wasn't much of a choice since we would drafted Cade at 2 if he was available at 2. Cade was always more the sure thing and Green had more upside, and the numbers this season has pretty shown that to be the case.

Regardless of how good Green turns out, we made the right pick at number 2.

There is always the question of what you value: a guy that has been great most of the year, or a guy that was pretty bad for a long stretch and then exceptional for a long stretch. Also the question, of how much the overall game plays a role (defense, rebounds, assists), or how much being really good at one thing does. And then their is the question how much winning plays a role...

As far as future potential, Green is definetly up there. And if you ask me, he is probably at the top of this rookie class - simply because he has the one skill, that I consider most valuable and hardest to come by: score at will even at clutch moments.

As far as this season, it is Cunningham for me. He carried his team - no other rookie did. And he has the most impressive overall numbers. Yeah, he wasn't very efficient, but still, he did the most for the longest time as a rookie. He would get my vote.

Jalen has more 30 burgers than almost that whole list put together! This ride is going to be fun with our new young guns.

He does have the most well rounded game. For now at least.

Now if Jalen drops two 40 plus to round it out...
