I forget, are you the one who's friend stole your ring, blamed the cleaning lady, and then you got her fired? Maybe the maintenance man gave you arsenic laced candy to avenge his co-worker. The old man was having an affair with the cleaning lady, and by getting her fired you saved his marriage. Just a theory.
Why didn't you move in with her? Now you have to spend everrry night at her place with an eye open while sleeping just to keep an eye on both of them! Yeah, just call me P-I-M-P...do you need more emoticons? I can get them for free! I'm still alive and she's still here. FAIL. No, some idiot popped the balloon! Hey, my birthday is coming up so another new balloon for me!!
Yeah, I know it's the 2000's and everything, but when it comes to my girl living with some other dude - no matter what the circumstance - that's not cool.
LMAO...now that's funny... Now to Grandpappy, I wouldn't be cool with it at all...However, why is she cool with it? Just because her sister was cool with it? Why not be pre-emptive and move in with her...

apparently i'm in the minority, but i'd be fine with it.. assuming you actually trust her and trust her sister's judgment
Thats free food, if i had a girl, i'll tell her to take him for all the candy he gots. Heck, if I thought she was getting some good food or candy i'd back away and pretend i didn't exist. Hence why I'm single. lol I think jealousy is sad, because why be jealous? If some guy can actually steal a girl away from you, she's a slut and not worth your time, isn't she? And, if he can't, why worry? Even if you're not dating the girl, if she can't see you're the better choice, eff her, she isn't worth it. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink, you know?
Girlfriend: Is he fine? Girlfriend's sister: Girl, he looks like a Calvin Klein underwear model. And he walks around the house with these short shorts and once... I caught it moving! Girlfriend: Are you for real? Girlfriend's sister: Don't you trust me? Girlfriend: Hell yeah I trust you. Sign me up.
Expand... I'm not sure. I think, if someone has true conviction within him/herself they can give the person with a chance, ride the relationship through it's course, then check whats out there. Then again, I'm more of a person who believes in keeping your eyes on what you got and not worry about what's out there. I'm probably wrong.
I'm not really sure what you are saying in this post, but in the one where you said if a girl cheats she is a slut, it's way more complicated then that. It's like saying all men who cheat are just dogs. The act itself is usually a culmination of other factors that had been building, and most people who cheat regret it afterward. We are all humans, and the smart thing to do is to not put yourself in a situation where you can stray if your relationship is important to you. Heck, even the Bible talks about how you can stray without realizing what you are getting into.
I agree. Why put yourself into a situation where you might make a mistake? Put almost any guy into a Big Brother reality show with Megan Fox, Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, et al, and I'd be hard pressed to really blame the guy if anything happened. If you don't want to mess up, just don't put yourself in positions where you can eff up.
Maybe slut is too negative or strong of a word. I think anyone, regardless of gender that cheats shows that they are not whole as a person. Yes, there are times you can get in over your head and do something stupid, but, there's a reason why we convict the accessories to murder at the same level as the murderer him/herself. While I'm not making a direct correlation between cheating and murder, I think beg the question, did anyone stop and think of the repercussions? I strongly disagree with you when you say that cheating is a culmination of a series of factors, rather I see it as a means of leaving a situation. While I do not want to attach positive or negative connotations to cheating, i can't help but think it takes a really weak minded person to cheat. If something isn't right inside the relationship, it shouldn't take something outside the relationship to leave. Personally i disagree greatly with your part that says "we are all humans" because that implies that cheating is a mistake, like forgetting your wallet, or forgetting an anniversary, while i see it as a complete and utter character flaw, like a habitual liar, a narcissist, a nymphomaniac. I think you're over complicating cheating, and i think regret is meaningless. So what they regret it? Most of them regret that they got caught more than anything. Then again, i could be wrong. I just feel like if you make a decision to do something specifically, it's hard/damn impossible to break that. The sad thing, is that cheating is not something you can be coaxed into, you make the decision to cheat, it's not rape. I'm not saying i'm perfect, far from it, but there are certain things I won't do, and cheating is one of them. I think if a girl cheats, she lacks the conviction to not only give the relationship a chance, she lacks the conviction to value herself to just leave for the reasons already on the table. Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat. Like I said, i'm probably not spot on here.
I'd be cool with it too. I actually live with a girl and I've become good friends with her boyfriend.
I think you are wrong. There are cases where cheating may be a way "out" as you described it, but that's usually not the case. I think you'd be surprised at the number and the quality of people who have cheated. I'm a very strong willed person and I have never cheated on my wife or girlfriend before that. However, I'm also smart. I avoid situations that are going be tempting, and I don't seek out other women to spend my time with. I think most studies that have been done on this subject would reveal that most people who cheat aren't doing it for the sex and they don't only regret getting caught; they regret doing it. This isn't me justifying cheating at all. It isn't something I can personally forgive, but I also understand it's more complicated than the person just being weak or a slut or anything else. Even the best of people can cheat.
