From what I can gather by reading some of her interviews, she actually strikes me as fairly intelligent.
The statement wasn't that complicated. Most semi-literate people could have churned this out in less than 15 minutes.
Grey's re-imagining of Sophie's Choice was indeed inspiring. For those who haven't seen it, she chooses both. At the same time. At the same time! A virtuoso in bloom. Grey was always able to pass for an intellectual in the p*rn world. She could quote a few lines of Sartre in interviews, and could pass off a convincingly undergraduate philosophy deconstruction of the male gaze, as it relates to art/p*rn, etc. She's no dummy. To her credit, Grey was able to parlay a standard beauty and a few years' eagerness in doing unimaginably (entertaining) filthy things --even by p*rn standards-- into a moderately successful mainstream acting career. All by the age most are finishing university. Stop hatin'.
The school was negligent in not discplining the derelict teacher who let her in the class. As a side note, however, I'm not a big fan of activist parents when they complain about non-academic issues. As another side note, I don't think ex-p*rn-stars or moonlighting strippers should be banned from teaching. But then I guess you'd have to let skinheads do it to.
When I was in middle school, my Speech teacher would take us to the neighboring elementary school to volunteer as reading mentors to a few of the kids. I spent more time checking out the hot teachers than reading. With that said... I'm now checking out Miss Grey's old work.

Yeah, probably they didn't know about her p*rn history, which probably says something good about the school. Do they really need to check every actress who volunteers to read to make sure she hasn't done pron?
as a parent, i would be more upset that tmz is posting pictures of my kid on the internet. and they had to buy that photo off another parent, likely.
I had no problem with her until she showed up on Entourage and contributed to the ruining of the 7th season. Now I hate her.
