I don't see (public school) 1st graders being up to googling her name. They're just learning how to spell and usually don't remember anybody's name. Maybe maybe maybe, they ask their mom who doesn't happen to be aware of Grey's former profession, and she googles it with her kids. And they don't have SafeSearch turned on, maybe. Apparently, the school has a program that has celebrities come periodically to read to the class, so I'm sure they've had alcoholics and ex-cons before without the parents raising a fuss. (Incidentally, I would also be okay with alcoholics (as long as they aren't drunk at the time) and ex-cons. And Sasha Grey.)
Based on the way the spokesman said that many actresses regularly read to the children, my guess is the school administration didn't know who she was - just that 'an actress' wanted to come and read to the children.
Sasha should not have won the Best **** scene in 2009. I still say it was a lifetime achievement type award they gave her as she was retiring. Maybe they were making up for the fact she should have won in 2006, but still...I hate these make-up awards, when clearly she wasn't top 5 in 2009
Yep, I agree with all this. And still think they probably could have thought this through a little better. Again, that they are disowning it says something, i think.
True. You kinda realize who brings out the best in the girls and who doesn't. Who is annoying so you don't watch any scenes he's in with a starlet you like. Etc.
Yeah, I mean, Sasha is awesome and she should have won in 2006, but Naomi won, yet again. That was a sham. And then Taylor took over. I mean,,,come on...are you saying Taylor did not deserve it in 2008?!
She made a choice to go into that industry . . . . . . and It has consequences Everyone cannot do everything . . . If the parents are upset . . .they upset . . . Not my kid . . . I think I would be bother by it but not overly so I would be bothered with the nagging question: Who invited her and why? Rocket River
Sasha responds... FB fan page status. I am proud to have participated in the "Read Across America" program at Emerson Elementary School in Compton, CA. I read “Dog Breath” by Dav Pilkey to the sweetest 1st and 3rd grade children. "Read Across America" is a program that was designed to promote literacy and instill a lifelong love of reading in elementary school students. Promoting education is an effort that is close to my heart. Illiteracy contributes to poverty; encouraging children to pick up a book is fundamental. I believe education is a universal right. I committed to this program with the understanding that people would have their own opinions about what I have done, who I am and what I represent. I am an actor. I am an artist. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a partner. I have a past that some people may not agree with, but it does not define who I am. I will not live in fear of it. To challenge non-profit education programs is an exercise in futility, counter-productive and anti-educational. I cannot thank my fans and “Read Across America” enough for supporting my decision. Your support and kind words continue to inspire me. I believe in the future of our children, and I will remain an active supporter and participant in education-focused initiatives.
I find sasha much sexier in photos than the p*rn she does. Whomever had said she was nasty was right about that. She is a huge turn off in the bed.
