For everyone who keeps bashing Adelman in comparison with Phil Jackson, just look at the talent they each had to work with. Phil had Jordan, Kobe, and Shaq, all in their prime. Compare that to Adelman's best players whom are good, but not top 20 greatest of all-time like Phil. Adelman deserves more accolades for getting the most out of the talent he has had to work with, not to mention the fraud of a series that LA won vs Sacramento.

They call him the "Glyde" for a reason.

I'm surprised Peja is getting so few votes. He was arguably the games best shooter for 2 or 3 years during his prime.

    I voted Clyde, Webber, Peja

Not all threads are about Tmac, please read the first page.

This is about the best players on the best teams that Rick Adelman coached and last year's team was the best Rockets team because they got the furthest.

Tmac was not on that playoff roster. Am I wrong?

From those eras, I'd go with The Glyde, C-Webb and Yao Ming.

This isn't even close. Clyde the Glide by a mile. The way he dominated people and would throw down on guys when he was in Portland was pretty amazing.

Semantics. He was on the team but not on the playoff roster. He only contributed (1% if you will) to get them there.

He may have added some motivation by counting his team out as well :)

you're right, since how good the team as a collection of individuals has anything to pertain with the poll question you just asked.

For the record, I hate T-Mac, and Clyde is my answer, but your whole strategy illicit the type of animosity you were hoping for. It just reveals a lot about your own character. Placing T-Mac on there and watching him get a tiny fraction of the votes from the remaining TOF would have done you more good.

It does pertain to the poll.

    haven't you taken statistics?

Out of these successful teams coached by Rick, who do you feel is(are) the greatest?

    its not hard.

if you want a Tracy McGrady thread, I believe you have a good choice of them now.

Clyde obviously. Vlade should have gotten honorable mention on the list.

And Yao Ming, didn't play the last four games of the playoffs. So if T-Mac is not going to be included on this list due to not playing because of injury although he was part of the tea, then Yao should also not be included on this list since he was injured and not playing for the majority of the series against the Lakers, even if he was part of the team.

Would you agree that theres a difference between playing 9 of 13 and 0 of 13?

You're going off playoff success, by that Derek Fisher is a better PG than Paul and even a player like wafer would be considered better than mcgrady.

And don't try to deflect the point of interest, you don't have to make a mcgrady titled thread, you could just include him in the poll, but you and I both know that this is in fact a latent "Mcgrady" thread ironically. Pretending to be slick for laughs or were you actually thinking so, tinman? And please don't even try calling me some kind of mcgrady apologist or fan.

Derek Fisher didn't play for Rick Adelman in the playoffs.

You make a thread about Rick Adelman and you get people talking about Tracy McGrady.

It's a poll. in fact it's the poll i made. If you want to make a poll and thread than you can do that, nobody is stopping you.
