Greatest Movie Intro Ever...

Good call. Super Troopers is definitely one of my favorite comedies. Awesome intro, and the whole movie is pretty much just as funny.

 

The opening Trinity fight scene in The Matrix....blew me away.

 

More recently..

"Madness?"

 

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster.

 

i knew you'd get it right!

but that whole movie from start to finish is brilliant.

 

Serenity had a pretty badass opening.

"The minds behind every military, diplomatic and covert operation in the galaxy, and you put them in a room with a psychic."

007 Casino Royale - opening chase scene
Swordfish - Matrix explosion scene was awesome
DejaVu - The movie was so so but the opening was gripping and well done

I think that's a vastly underrated action movie. And you're right, the first scene is awesome!

 

The opening scene of Spaceballs with the seemingly non-stop mega ship is pretty hilarious. We Brake For Nobody!
