1994 Rockets vs Knicks Game 7

1995 Rockets vs Magic Game 4

    13 in 30

    Game 6 Rockets vs Clips

    135/134 Rockets vs Wars

I’ll give it #5 best game ever, but that’s me.

13 in 33 is overrated....it was only good for 33 seconds, the whole game was extremely boring. I was on edge for this whole game ..I didn't even pee for 4 hrs while drinking beer!

Regular season game, national tv, it's one of the best.

you are correct about the other game, it was pretty much in hand except for the abnormal shooting at the end.

No Chris Paul vs full squad Warriors.

I think for it to be the greatest game of all time in Rox history it has to meet the criteria of being a playoff game.
But definitely best regular season game that I have actually had the pleasure of watching, without a doubt. 13 in 33 was impressive in a vacuum, but I think the narratives going into this game make it way more epic:

    Narratives:
Missing your 2nd and arguably 3rd best player. On the road against a dynasty, against 4 other all stars. Harden on a tear for the last 10 games averaging 40 ppg. People arguing if Harden is the greatest offensive force the NBA has ever known.

And what do you get? A 20 pt comeback to force OT. Clint gets a 20-20 game, guys on the bench stepping up, Rivers covering for CP3, GreenHouse effect in full force, even BK had a bigtime 3 in the 4th.

Harden had to leave early in the game after getting elbowed but came back to take care of business. Finishes w/ 40 pt triple double, 4 straight 40 pt games, setting all sorts of silly records, and a game-winner in overtime over donkey draymond "2-way" Klay to cap it off.

GS big 4 pour in 96 points but it doesn't f***king matter, they are forced to knees by an offensive savant, a bearded juggernaut, a living legend

What time to be a Rockets fan.

Harden was going on 1 on 4 and throwing haymakers and connecting. It was one of the most amazing solo acts in decades considering the circumstances

This is up there with the greatest endings of a Rockets win with a game winning shot for sure:
    - 13 in 33
    - 22-1 game in 94 @ SAS (Maxwell final 5 points including game winner)
    - 95 Semi-finals game 7 in OT (Elie)

The Warriors have 2 legit All-Stars, 1 great shooter and a former DPOY and the Rockets have Harden and Capela. There's the Harden streak that was at stake, a statement game to the former champions and last year's WCF rivalry, a statement game since we're up 2-0 on them, a statement game for Harden's MVP case, a statement game against the team to beat with multiple all-stars, the current 5-0 unbeatable hottest team in the NBA streak was at stake etc.

Count the fact then that we're down 20 in the 3rd, Durant was out of bounds on their possible game winning shot, Harden was a bit off, for then the game to turn around and Harden delivering not just on the game winner, but almost every single shot / pass prior to that as well hitting the 3 to go to OT?! Yes, this was hands down one of the greatest games in this era, in Harden's history, best performance by Harden against the champions who are considered unbeatable and definitely one of the most intense and exciting 4th quarters and OTs I have ever seen and I even - unfortunately - knew the score beforehand. So happy nobody spoiled the game winner yet. I thought it's probably a free throw situation, so happy it was a crazy game winner over 2 defenders. The only thing that would've made it perfect is a buzzer-beater.

What other great endings with game winners did we have in franchise history, cannot really think of other big ones at the moment. Maxwell's shot vs. Knicks in Game 7 was big, but people tend to overrate that one as it was not a game winning shot.

6:00, gets Klay with the wicked crossover and hits the three, then taps him on the ass... Moment of the game.

20 years is an arbitrary #.

Sampson hitting the miracle over the showtime Lakers is the reason I'm a Rockets fan today.

GSW game is one of the best regular season games, for sure.

The 22-game win streak was more epic, as a whole.

And you know if he missed that there was no way they would have called the obvious foul
