The makeup of the current team is looking good with 3 good 2-way players for the future. This is why it'd be great to keep Dragic to pair with Lowry. And if Parsons can get more consistent on the offensive side, Houston will only get better building around these 3.

I'm not sure which of these, if any, are in jest for greatest two way players.

Mario Elie wasnt a great shot creator. But we forgot how GREATLY EFFICIENT Elie was on offense.

He's #21 all time in true shooting. Even better than Mr Fill'er Upper Kevin Martin. And number #31 all time in offensive rating. What is that? I dont know. But its better than Kareem and Brandon Roy

I say Maxwell being off the team in '95 was a blessing in disguise to include more of Elie's efficiency.

Yeah RVR, we have been the CRADLE of great big men. It's been a privilege to watch ....And kudos to CD. His fingerprints are evident everywhere here. Also, Moses's tutelage of Dream (on and off the court)......That's just.....awesome. A literal example of passing the torch .....No wonder we have the tradition we do.

Speaking of Mr. FoFoFo - Wasn't it great hearing Gene's call when Moses was playing volleyball on the boards?
I agree with you about Moses being the better rebounder. Both were beasts, with Moses being more of a power player and Dream having total game eventually.

His first two seasons in Houston Horry actually tried to be a scoring threat. After that he just fell back to being a play when he wants to player.

Am I the only person who felt the only "offensive" players we had during the championship years were Hakeem, Otis, and Clyde? Not sure why people put Horry and Vernon in this group. Not unless you have some absurdly low standard for offense.

The players that comes to mind during the years I actually saw the Rockets were Hakeem, Yao, and to lesser extents Clyde and Mobley. No other players IMO fit the description assuming there is a fairly high standard on both sides. If you're going to include Vernon/Horry in the discussion, then IMO Chuck, Lee, T-Mac also fits in the discussion.
