After reading a bit about the Pixie episode and corporate America's relationship with racism, I have to agree. Props to the guy for not selling out and shutting it down.

What's a list like this without Happy Days?

"Unbearable to watch" is putting it too strongly, but I have to agree that News Radio was never the same after Hartman. I kept watching for a while, but then gave up.

yep, Martin was one of the most consistently funny shows ever.

Heroes though...man, I used to love that show. First season was the shiiiizzznnnitttt! Now I haven't even watched the last 6 shows. I am not even the least bit interested in it anymore.

Kath and Kim was funny for the first 3 or 4 episodes then it just became stupid. It had potential but it always fell flat. Sorta like how Parks and Recreation is doing right now.

American Dad sucked in the first season but now its almost on par with Family Guy! Last Sunday's American Dad killed Family Guys episode.

Oh and did anyone catch that bull**** Sit Down and Shutup Show? From the creators of Arrested Development my ass... either that or it doesn't translate well to animation. Show was horrible though.

ehh...Family Matters was always over the top, it was a natural progression. Urkle was supposed to be a genius/klutz so he just kept topping himself. It was actually pretty funny, even though it was the definition of jumping the shark. It was ironic that they found out the the actual family of the sit-com didn't matter and they just tried to maximize Urkel's character by creating clones, robots, etc.

I'm finally starting to get back into SNL after a long time. I love Kristen Wigg's characters most of the time, and the male cast I find pretty funny as a group. None of them stand out too much individually, though.

I had no idea Foreman/Kelso left "That 70's Show" at the end. I didn't watch the show until syndication, and they have NEVER shown an episode that I've seen where Foreman or Kelso weren't there. I could easily see how that show crashed without those two.

Katy Segal had a miscarriage. They wrote the murder mystery episode with Traci Lords to explain why Peg was no longer pregnant...it was a dream.

I don't think Seven had anything to do with that. He was just dumped off on them by some of Peg's relatives. I think they took him back--not a dream.

Family Matters actually jumped the shark, when the Winslow family suddenly was missing a daughter and no one made no mentions of it. Who cares, if she wasn't a central character (yet add more starring characters), in any kind of story, you would (well-written) say if she died or got sent military school, even go live with an strangely disappearing Aunt. I won't even touch on that.

    Anyway, I nominate

Star Trek (TOS) - 3rd Season, one worst seasons for a great TV show ever. It might've had two or three good episodes when they were fighting with the Romulans for a strange cloaking device and a few other odd episodes...but it was very hippie - ish season ... in a bad way.

Good Times - D@mn...D@mn...D@mn, that's when the series peaked.

Walker Texas Ranger - ...Well it was always kind of ridiculous, but it had Chuck Norris, so I can't complain, too much. But, Walker winning a major Nascar race. That was around 99-00 ish.

Mork and Mindy - After the 1st season, it seemed repetitive and it dumped her father and grandma. Then, tried to usual lets bring on younger (cuter/hotter) and fresher faces to get that 18-34 demographic... I hate when shows do that.

Diff'rent Strokes - Most people would say that happened to this show, too. It did start off with big bang, but it was getting unusual and badly written, before Sam was even though of.

Happy Days - I feel two ways about this show, I agree with what (Henry) Winkler said in interview even after that infamous... shark...moment. It was usually #1 in its slot and night for the next 6 years. At the same time, it suffer the same fate as Family Matters (and other Miller-Boyette shows), you notice that they all start to adding strange (fantasy-sci-fi like) plot-lines

    WHAT?!?!

THANK YOU... I cant believe SNL is being me mentioned in the same thread as some of these other stink bombs..

Some of you need to go back and watch the John Malkovich episode from this season, it might be one of the top 10 overall best SNL episodes ever..

SNL.. Great show or the greatest show, you decide..

Was it ever explained what happened to Seven?

I recall an episode where they showed his picture on a milk carton.

Charles in Charge - Actually became increasingly bearable to watch with each season, thanks to Miss Eggert.

She's the Sheriff - Really fell off after season 6, when they brought in Ted McGinley as "Beau Middleton" - the hot shot DA, and Sasha Mitchell as "Raz" - the stoner neighbor.

    WTF?!

The Wire is the only show I've ever seen that can shift it's thematic focus AND do it brilliantly.

    S1 - Barksdales
    S2 - the Port
    S3 - Hamsterdam
    S4 - the 4 kids/Marlo
    S5 - the newspaper media

I mean what specifically made it unbearable? That deserves a reply expanding on your original post.
