Hey, that wasn't my fault... I'm playing Diablo II and my finger won't stop clicking. (If you play, you know what I'm talking about... haha! [IMG]).

Lemme go back and delete those posts.

Uh oh... BBS having problems again. It deleted my original post instead of the one I wanted deleted, and now won't let me delete the "duplicates". Clutch, if you're out there... you may wanna see what's up. I just noticed the duplicates are 4 minutes apart. Hmmm... anyway... I'll leave them there for your viewing (dis)pleasure, Bobo.

Jeff, being a guitarist, like you, we both forgot to mention 2 giants in jazz guitar.

    Charlie Christian
    Django Reinhardt

I'm coming in a little late...but I love Coltrane's "Love Supreme." Someone else said Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"...that CD is great! "Take 5" by Dave Brubeck is really good too..you'll recognize the song from the old Infiniti commercials! Brubeck is extremely talented.

Some other new guys I don't think anyone mentioned:
Joshua Redman & Roy Hargrove. I really like the CD, "Roy Hargrove Quintet and the Tenors of Our Time." Hargrove is a Dallas guy, but I try not to hold that against him!

I'd really like to check out some Latin jazz..anyone have any good suggestions?? Sinatra did an album with Carlos Jobim...does anyone know if Carlos' other stuff is worth checking out??
