Give me a break. We're 6 games into the regular season... with 76 left remaining. We made the biggest free agent move of the offseason, and players are figuring out how to play with one another....that they're 4-2 in the midst of that is a good thing, not a bad thing. Of course there's stuff to work on. There's always stuff to work on. The kneejerk reactions after a loss here are infamous. And this is one of those.
James, probably pisses me off more than anyone right now, doesn't give a F on defense, just lazy. Still an offensive monster, and shooting high percentage from the top of the key, and finishing at the basket over 60% of the time, or drawing a foul. Disappointing to hear all the allegations about his attitude though. Parsons, while a short sample size, is actually putting up similar averages from last season. Sure, numbers aren't always reflective of the overall productive chemistry/impact on the game...but still. I feel like the guy has quietly productive games. JLin, I've never thought he was a reflection of the player we saw during Linsanity, but I'm a little surprised at how much hate he gets. Maybe its just people's hope that he would still be glimpse of that past. In reality, he's probably considered the fourth or fifth best player on this team. Yet, the kid still gives you 15ppg...not bad for a 4th or 5th guy.
Another post for another dumbass poster... We are 6 freaking games into the season. This is a new team that Dwight is on using. There WILL be growing pains. Chemistry doesn't happen instantly. You need to cultivate it, especially with a guy like Howard. Teams around the league would DIE to be in our position; new team trying to put the pieces together sitting pretty at 4-2.
