In my opinion people who actively use the word douchebag or any other popular variety of that word on a regular basis when speaking is a douchebag himself. For example the sports talk radio host here in SA has a daily segment where he identifies daily douchebag. I cant stand the show or the cowboy nutridder that hosts the show.
LOL...that made me laugh... I have some, but I find it ridiculous that they cost $50 - $100 for a f'n t-shirt...I think the most I paid was like $20...I like the long sleeve button version, that have some design on it...I wouldn't consider it being dressed up, its just too damn hot to wear anything else... I was at Dillard's yesterday and over heard some guy tell his wife regarding these shirts for his kid: "$40 for an F'n t-shirt...it's just a t-shirt"...
Voted yes because a few of my HD T's have skulls on them and are rather graphic. But I've never worn the stuff you guys are posting in this thread.
the t-shirts are over designed
I don't want a damn shirt that looks like a giant tatoo across my body...
Normal graphic tees from express, pac sun, buckle, etc.. are fine though
You're right, other than me, i never here other black people say it. That's why i like to use it, some people don't even know its a put down. But anyway, let me try to break it down a little. A douche is kinda like a wangsta. When you were in college/HS or whatever their the ones that mimic whatever's hot right now but don't really have their own style. Think about Riley from the Boondocks when he was acting like Gangstalicious, he was being a douche (i guess its kinda like being a follower). Technically, its something used to clean a dirty vagina too. It's not that big of a deal its just a funny a** word to me.
Who effing cares...? Wear whatever the hell makes you feel good. Maybe dude got beat up by a guy wearing an Affliction shirt.
Of course not, but the demeanor of the people shows it. And, there is a general sentiment, a stereotype if you will, that a portion of these people try to act like badasses by wearing "hardcore" graphic t-shirts (such brands as affliction).
Exactly, I have a couple of Affliction shirts, and I couldn't be more the opposite of one of those "douchebags"
I don't wear graphic tees. I'm pretty much a short sleeve or long sleeve button up guy (no graphics on those either! *gasp*) Affliction and Ed Hardy shirts way too loud for my tastes. But do I hate on those that choose them as a style? No. Nice try though.
"Hey look at me. I'm cool b/c I don't wear jorts, a graphic tee, a backwards hat while working out, and my socks are definitely not black. Oh yea, not that I care about what other guys wear but I'm not gay....really."
