But the issue is the officers don't apply the rules evenly. They may pull a black guy for going 65 but allow a white driver to go by at 70. And that's the issue.

Power doesn't mean free reign from public servants. If that power is being used with nefarious intent, it needs to be checked.

 

Nobody contests when white women benefit from affirmative action, especially hardcore conservatives but when it comes to blacks and hispanics, whether the benefit is real or imagined, they lose their **** over it. It seems you don't really follow the politics of affirmative action. Pointing to the success of affirmative action for white women is less of a success than it is a flaw in the system considering there are more disadvantaged groups that are discriminated against but good for them.
